Let me give you some background about them! Please support these wonderful people!
Sonya started LeanOnUs.co because of a friendship that inspired her to want to reach out to others who might be struggling with life's issues and need a hand or a shoulder to cry on. LeanOnUs.co was started in June of 2011 by Sonya who wanted to help others and give them a safe haven to express their views, opinions or just vent and to learn they aren't alone.
In July she realized she wasn't able to do all that needed to be done and the person who agreed to help her unfortunately had other commitments. So Shauna stepped in as she insisted Sonya should not give up on her dream. Three years before Shauna and Sonya met on an online game and exchanged yahoo addresses. They fast became good friends, so when Sonya had felt she would have to give up Shauna said 'No way!'
Nine months later they are still working hard together on the ever growing LeanOnUs site, community forum, and two blogs. They have developed the site to help people get support for life's issues. They are also supporting different people they have met online and help with promoting artwork, twitter chats, situations with illness, websites, blogs and more..
Come check out LeanOnUs.co and be part of an understanding community, help someone that may just need a kind word.

December - Journey Through the Skies was sold to a lovely family who actually saw some of my work at the Art fair in town. They sent me a photo of it in situ in their home together with a lovely message of how the children are choosing their own names for it and how much they love it! For me, as an artist, that is what Art is all about! Creating work that hopefully someone will enjoy as much as you have enjoyed making it!!!
11 November I apologise for the delay but the last month has been a whirlwind of activity. Commissions to finish and new work to produce for the gallery etc. etc. I have new ideas for work in a new medium completely so watch this space! :)

June 30 - Photos of the prayer garden are now available under School Prayer Garden tab and you will have a chance to see step by step how the garden has been transformed. Any comments would be very much appreciated! Thank you to everyone who helped and gave their time and effort to create such a beautiful tranquil place for the school to sit and reflect.............. I will always hold this project close to my heart!
Let us not forget that Trinity Catholic School have yet to hand over some wall paintings on boards depicting the life of St. Teresa. Can't wait for them to be placed on the fence. Photos will follow when they are erected.
June 28 - Finally the day arrived and the weather was kind to us. The ceremony took place at 1.30pm and the blessing was undertaken by Bishop Kenney. Live music was provided courtesy of Trinity Catholic School followed by a Welcome by the Head - Mrs. Fallon. St. Teresa's choir sang a beautiful hymn then prayers were said. Bishop Kenney blessed the garden in a solemn and moving way. The atmosphere was very reverend and the children's faces were beaming as they sang, clearly delighted by the occasion. Personally for me it has been the most spiritually rewarding artistic commission to date and I can honestly say that I put my heart and soul into the artwork I created, always with St. Teresa foremost in my mind. The Head thanked everyone individually for their wonderful help and I was overwhelmed to receive a beautiful bouquet of flowers at the end of the service. The Courier came to take a photograph of us with Bishop Kenney by the statue of Our Lady. Refreshments were available after the service and photos of how the garden was transformed over the months step by step were revealed. A day I will never, ever forget! (Photos of the day will are under the School Prayer Garden tab)
June 24 - A wonderful team from IBM came to help paint the garden fence and plant a beautiful array of plants and flowers in tubs and containers etc. Many thanks to Rita and all the team for their wonderful work.

May 13 - The school was featured in the Leamington Spa Courier as the staff and children placed a time capsule in the new prayer garden.
Everyone is in a mad flurry to get the garden finished as the deadline approaches on 28 June when the Bishop of Coventry will come to bless the garden. It really is such a special, exciting time for the school.
So far art wise, I have produced a mosaic plaque to sit at the front of the grotto housing the statue of Our Lady and am nearing completion of 5 paintings (on wood) - 1. Bird of Peace 2. Cross set against a dramatic sky. 3. Sea with a gold fish symbol. 4. Essence of a Rose (my donation to the school garden). 5. School logo surrounded by hand prints of each child from Reception Class. 6. An Invocation Prayer to St. Teresa on perspex in glass paints and mixed media including real rose petals.

Amidst the Royal Wedding frenzy, Our Lady's & St. Teresa's School undertook a "non wedding" celebration that included a very cute bride and groom from Reception class all dressed up in wedding regalia. I was thrilled to be "Royal Photographer" for the day. A chauffeur driven car took them to church and a "non wedding" service took place with Father Lawrence talking about the sanctity of marriage. The whole school and staff dressed up to the nines to celebrate the Royal Wedding in their own unique way. There was a Royal Banquet to follow with a disco. A lovely wedding cake was cut and shared out too. The couple did an opening dance before the hall became a sea of happy faces enjoying the day. Needless to say, the whole school and staff worked to hard to ensure it was a day to remember! Well done everyone and parents for dressing up their kids in smart or patriotic clothes. The place was full of photos of Kate and William and balloons and flowers festooned the hall. A special thanks to Mrs Fallon who thought up the wonderful idea. The celebration was followed by the local press and was featured on Central News!

I enjoyed creating a "mood-board" plan for the garden which will no doubt change over the next few months but some things will remain static.
